Today I had my first day of work for a small cleaning company. It's actually quite fun, I'm quite nosy, so I get to nose around other peoples houses. I'm only doing it for the summer and since I live in a teeny town this was pretty much all I could get.

This was what I looked like before I headed off to work (I had to change into old clothes as they would get dirty). I love this shirt, it's my absolute favourite. I wore it for my 20th birthday party and can't get enough of it. It looks great for evening and day looks.

I am thinking of putting some blonde through my hair for summer, but I'm not to sure how to go about it! I also purchased new St Tropez so I don't look so pale for then I go on holiday!

Banana's and Beatles

 

I've been in Edinburgh this past week visiting my boyfriend. The weather was alright (such a British thing to talk about!) and I managed to squeeze in some shopping.

I am a huge fan of the body shop and love all of their products. I read about their banana shampoo and conditioner online and the reviews were great, so I decided to give it a try and I have to say - best shampoo range ever. It's as if it was made for my hair! The smell is amazing and it leaves my hair soft and refreshed, like brand new again. I strongly recommend it!

I am wearing my beloved Beatles shirt in that picture. I love The Beatles and saw this shirt and had to have it. It's the best. I am also wearing my boyfriends cardigan in this pic which I stole for the whole week (:

Today has been such a mixed day, the weather just can't make it's mind up! I was lucky to catch some sun today.

I went for a run this morning and then carried on exercising in doors because it started to rain. I am trying to tone my body up a bit more so if any of you have any tips or tricks let me know!

I am a big fan of fringing this summer so this shirt hit all the right spots. I bought a couple because I love them. There is beading along some of the pattern which I think makes the top pop more. I love anything beaded!

These sunglasses are my new favourtie thing. They go with everything and I know they will be a staple in my wardrobe this summer.

Today was very windy, as you can tell in some of my photos, i.e. my hair in my face! I think it worked well though to show off the sheer fabric of my kimono. I love Japanese culture and am loving all the patterns out there at the moment.

This particularly caught my eye as I had never seen these patterns before. It's so beautiful and will look great over a bikini in Portugal!

My weekend has consisted of vodka, the beach, P.S. I Love You and coffee, lots of coffee!

Day of Packing

 

Today I was packing up my clothes and shoes for taking home. This summer I am moving back home, which I am super excited about, but a bit sad to not be spending it in a city!

I currently have one large suitcase and one smaller suitcase filled with clothes and shoes. I hope I don't need to take much more but I keep finding things that I reckon I will need...haha.

This outfit was put together out of pure laziness. I wasn't going anywhere so I felt no need to dress up. The jumper/cardigan I am wearing is from Topshop and a size 14. I picked it up by accident and it's ten times too big for me, but I actually think it works better for the style.

I have to say, the only thing that is missing is an Indian feather hat, like this one here. Must get myself one of those...

Colour

 

Today has been the first day really that I could totally relax after having finished all my coursework and exams. I was in Edinburgh last week, and I went a bit mad with the shopping! I saw these jeans and instantly knew I had to have them. I don't have a lot of colour in my wardrobe and decided this was the summer to bump it up.

The jeans are from Topshop and so is the shirt. When I like something like this style of shirt I tend to buy them in bulk.

The ring is also Topshop, as I have a thing for their jewels, this is a new purchase and I well spent one (:

The necklace is one of my favourite given to me by my auntie one birthday ago. I believe in angels and such so this suits me perfectly.

Procastination

(Headband, Sunglasses and Shirt: Topshop)

Yes I am suppose to be revising today, but instead I went for a little shop (: As it is summer now, and I have zero summer clothes I thought I ought to get some...and the weather was extra nice today (:

I love these sunglasses, I've always wanted a pair of round ones but never had the gutts to buy them. My attitude towards clothes has totally changed, I now don't really care how people view my clothes.

The headband was a must. I love head gear and this couldn't have went by without being bought! It's just the kind of style I'm into right now and the beads are soooo cute.

The shirt, well yeah, I just needed a new one :p It's so comfortable and hangs perfectly on me. 

I'm going to Edinburgh this weekend so watch out for some hard core shopping!
